Vacay 2015 - Let the Planning Begin!

Happy February, friends! I'm so excited - my husband and I have decided upon our 2015 getaway location! And while we don't have to travel far to get there, it's a place that I have had on my travel list for a very long time.

This place has gorgeous scenery! Beautiful mountains, lakes, and stunning views...

A seriously incredible craft beer scene...

Opportunities for some major adrenaline rushes...

And a fabulous skyline...

That's right - we're making our way to Denver, Colorado! We have been doing some research to find the best restaurants to try, top hiking trails to find, and most exciting white water rafting tours! There seems to be so many fantastic things to do and sites to see that it's going to be tough trying to round it down to only a few days!

I am thrilled to get to experience all that Denver has to offer. So many of my friends and family have spent time there and I have always heard amazing things about the city. After starting my research, I think I'm even more excited about it now than I was at first...if that's even possible!

The internet has been a great source of information, of course. However, I have always found with traveling that word of mouth and recommendations from fellow travelers tend to make for the best experiences. So, friends of the interwebs, what do I absolutely HAVE to do while I'm in Denver? What are the can't miss restaurants? The must-see landmarks? The secret spots that all the locals know and love?

I am looking forward to all your wonderful ideas and tips! Denver, we're heading your way...I hope you're ready for us!

    1. I absolutely love the mountains, too! Since I never get to see them, I am always in total awe when I'm around them! Hopefully the weather will allow for some great mountain hikes during my time there! :)
