2014 Recap - and Hopes for 2015

Aaaahhh...2014 is finally behind us. Time for a new start! 2014 brought some great memories, but unfortunately, brought some incredibly heart-wrenching experiences, as well. The loss of my dad in November still has me reeling. It has definitely made the last part of this year one that I will never forget.

But, in true New Year style, I want to focus on the positive. The good. The fun. Because through all the pain and sadness this year, I have to remember that I am truly thankful for the friends, family, and experiences that I get to call mine.

2014 Highlights

Nashville, Tennessee - October 2014

Oh, how I fell in love with this city! The people, the food, the music, the scenery...I can't wait to go back!

Ziplining was amazing!
Loved meeting up with our friends John and Carrie on Broadway Street!
We escaped! The Escape Game was SO MUCH FUN!

Craft Fairing with Mom - March 2014

It's so much fun getting to spend time with my mom doing something we both love! She joined me in March and spent the weekend with me at a local craft fair. It was tiring, but so much fun having her there with me! Plus, we got to drink copious amounts of wine for the rest of the weekend...which always constitutes a win in my book!

Getting our Starbucks on before heading to the first day of the craft fair - we needed a caffeine boost!
New Family Members - May 2014 and October 2014

We got two beautiful new nieces this year - Evelyn in May and Jessica in October. There is nothing that makes me quite as excited as getting a new little family member to spoil! As of yesterday, we now have 7 beautiful nieces...and STILL no nephews! #girlpower

Miss Evelyn - bright eyed and beautiful!

Miss Jessica - my first time meeting her!
To my friends, family, and fellow bloggers, I wish you happiness, joy, and success in 2015. May you be challenged in a way that strengthens you, meet new people who inspire you, and take a leap of faith and succeed! Cheers!
