Monday Yums!

This is one of my most favorite homemade recipes - and I think you will love it, too! Not only will this save you a few bucks, it's absolutely DELICIOUS. I've made it for St. Patrick's Day in the past, and also given it out as gifts. It's always a huge hit. So, here it is - homemade Bailey's Irish Whiskey!

Homemade Bailey's
Yield: 1 quart

- 1 c. whiskey
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. half and half
- 14 oz. can of Eagle Brand condensed milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1-1/2 tsp. chocolate syrup

1. Pour the whiskey into a blender.
2. Add each ingredient one by one, blending after each ingredient. Make sure it is smooth!
3. Pour into containers and put it in the fridge. I usually make it 2 - 3 days before giving it away. The first day, the whiskey taste is pretty evident, but it mellows out considerably after a couple days. It should last about 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
