A few fun projects I've been working on...

As many of you know, I signed up for my first big craft fair. It's in November, so I have a lot of work to do in the next few months. I'm so excited! I've been stocking on on cute fabric and getting ideas of what to make.

I hit up the fabric store yesterday...two women at the cutting counter officially know me by name now. Is it possible that I may be doing a little too much shopping at JoAnn Fabrics? Seriously. I'd spend my entire paycheck there if I could! Better yet, I'd work for yards of fabric instead of actual wages. Best idea ever!

This was my load from Wednesday:

So that I can make a bunch of these cute makeup brush rolls.

I'm planning on going back next week to get fabric for these adorable magnetic refrigerator menu organizers (thanks to Little Big Girl Studio for the great tutorial!) I made this as my tester last week. It turned out pretty well - but binding is a lot harder than it seems! I think I figured out a few tricks to make it go easier the next time around. Those of you who are quilters and blanket makers, I'd love your tips for binding!

Well, it's time to hit the gym! Then, hopefully I'll get to spend a little time with the sewing machine before bed!
Don't forget! The giveaway for a customized clutch is starting this Saturday!

  2. Hi! I came across your blog today and was so excited to see your organizer! It's the first photo I've seen of one someone has made using my tutorial. If you have a Flickr account, I'd love for you to add it to the LBG tutorial pool here.

    Have a great weekend!
